Numbers and Number Sets
Distinguishes the place value of a digit in a number within four place values, represents numbers using models, drawings, and number lines, and rounds numbers to the nearest ten, hundred, or thousand. Reads numbers within four place values and writes them in standard, word, and expanded forms. Counts within four place values forward, backward, and by skip counting (twos, fives, tens, hundreds, and thousands), and uses skip counting to identify even and odd numbers. Compares numbers within four place values using the symbols ( > , , < , = ), and orders them in ascending and descending order. Describes unit fractions as parts of a whole or a group, identifies their multiples, and represents them using models and drawings.
